My name is Andrew Anderson. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Hoboken, New Jersey, and I work with individuals and couples who are ready to look inward — with curiosity, with compassion, and without judgment.
What we do together.
I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy for individuals and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) therapy for couples — two deeply experiential, evidence-based approaches that go beyond just talking about your struggles. This work invites you to actually experience what’s happening inside you, and between you and the people you love, in ways that can feel genuinely new.
This isn’t therapy where you sit and report on your week. This is therapy where something actually shifts.
Who I work with.
I see adult individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, self-worth, and the quiet weight of things that are hard to name. I work with people who are intellectually engaged and emotionally open — or who want to become so.
People who show up with some version of let’s do this.
You don’t have to have it figured out. You just have to be willing to try.
Where & how.
I offer both in-person and virtual services because I believe both matter. The ease and intimacy of virtual sessions is real. And so is the need some of us have to step away from our spaces, walk through a new door, and be fully present with another person in the same room.
